Categories: BUY SHIDO TUTORIAL

First go to https://pool.shido.io/swap

Connect with your wallet (corner right, above)

Select in the menu: wrap/unwrap

Select first coin: SHIDO

Select second coin: WSHIDO

select amount of SHIDO to wrap and WRAP

Then select SWAP in the top-MENU

Select first amount of WSHIDO (note you can select any token on the Shido Network here..)

Then select USCDC as second coin and SWAP

You have now USDC on the Shido network.

It can be coverted to USDC on the Ethereum network by going to https://gateway.shido.io/

Connect your wallet if necessary.

Bridge from the Shido network to the Ethereum Network (you have to select both networks)

Select the amount USDC (Shido) to Bridge

Important: Keep in mind that all the contracts (WSHIDO, USDC (SHI) , USDC (ETH) shoulld be imported to your wallet

At the present moment is not possible to Bridge to USDT (ETH) through Shido Bridge

The best way is to tranfer Shido to MEXC and sell for USDT (ETH network)

Category: BUY SHIDO

Buy Shido native on a CEX like MEXC with USDT and then withdraw to keplr or Cosmostation and stake for 7% apy.
If you prefer DEFI then bridge USDC from 5 chains via Shido gateway native bridge, grab free 50 Shido and finish transaction to swap USDC Shido to Shido.

Alternative, you can use skipgo cross chain (on their website or keplr swap section) and swap cross to Shido.

For now I would avoid buying eth side (UNISWAP) if you intend to explore shido network mainnet afterwards since new purchases don’t qualify for migration

GENERAL

Category: GENERAL

there are meanly 2 apps to trade for tokens on the Shido Meannet

  1. Shido DEX developped by the Shido team and to find on https://app.shido.io/
  2. Bubble Swap developped by MavNode Labs and to find at https://bubbleswap.io

Through Shido DEX: Send for example USDC to Metamask (via ETH, Base or Arb) then use the gateway and buy Shido on Dex with those USDC (Shido). Don ‘t forget to add Shido Meannet to Metamask

Be aware you need first to buy Shido (Native)

Category: GENERAL

Shido started as a token on the Ethereum network (Layer 2).
The contract number on ETH is : 0xe2512A2f19F0388aD3D7A5263eaA82AcD564827b
You need this contract number to import Shido as a custom token in some wallets

Since early 2024 the team launched a native coin on its own network (Layer 1)

The total (token + coin) is about 18.000.000.000
Every time tokens are bridged to native, the tokens on ETH side are burned to keep the total in balance

In short: groups are social spaces for members, while forums are structured discussion areas within those groups. A group can host many features (members, activity feed, media), and a forum is specifically for organized discussions (Topics)

What is a Group ?

A group is a social mini‑community inside your platform.

Key characteristics:

  • Member list: people can join a group
  • Privacy settings: public, private, or hidden
  • Activity feed: similar to a Facebook group
  • Roles: organizers and moderators manage the group
  • Optional features: media, documents, events, and… a forum

Groups are mainly designed for social interaction, updates, and collaboration.

What is a Forum ?

A forum is a place for structured, long‑form discussions.

Key characteristics:

  • Contains topics and replies
  • Keeps conversations organized and easy to find
  • Can be linked to a group (most common setup)
  • Is automatically created when you create a new group

Forums are ideal for Q&A, support, and thematic discussions

How do Groups and Forums work together ?

ShidoHub links these two features automatically:

  • If you create a group called “Shido Beginners” → ShidoHub automatically creates a “Shido Beginners Forum”
  • The forum belongs to the group, but you can also use forums independently if you prefer
